We are kind of anal about certain things when it comes to submissions...

 

We prefer CDs via regular mail indicating what you feel is the song that best fits the station. We get so many submissions that we'd have to put on extra staff just to listen to it all once. Seriously, your odds are better if we spend 5 minutes on what you think is your strongest piece rather than 30 seconds on each track on your disc. Plus The Parrot gets pissy when he's impatient! You can certainly burn a one off of your strongest material as well.

 

If you don't want to send a CD, you have to be able to provide a 320kbps mp3 file we can download. Anybody that sends a file that big to our email is done, even if it's Chris Cornell...well ok we might make one or two exceptions. Even though we stream at 64Kbps, we have to maintain the highest possible integrity of your sound files to keep our listeners happy.

 

Finally, The Parrot becomes very annoyed if artists submit music without knowing what the station is all about. It wastes our time and your resources. Do yourself a favor and know where you're sending the tracks you worked so hard on. Make sure you have the best possible odds to achieve success...don't just throw it up against the wall and see what sticks.
